First meeting – Czech Republic
A Comenius project for primary school children called Virtual Museum of Monsters launched at the beginning of this academic year. One month later the first meeting of participants from all involved countries took place. The meeting was scheduled to take place in the Czech Republic in a small town of Trutnov. From the very first moment, when we met at the airport, it was obvious that we would make a great team and become the best of friends. We stayed in good spirits despite of a very exhausting meeting at which we went through every point and activity of the programme. Then, together with pupils from our school, we learnt a Czech ‘monster song‘, looked around the school and admired Lego monsters made by older students. All visiting teachers seemed to have enjoyed the visit to our nursery school where they resembled Korean tourists as during their short visit they took many photographs. The trips to
Adrspach Rock Town and Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, turned out to be an unforgettable experience. All too soon it was time to say goodbye. We miss our new friends, however we are so grateful they came to visit and knowing we meet again definitely helps.
